TAG Farnborough Business Plan Support
Farnborough Airport has been operated by TAG for many years as one of the leading UK aviation development and manufacturing bases. At Farnborough, TAG has created London's foremost airport exclusively dedicated to business aviation. With the ability to leave the airport straight from the aircraft door it is one hour from “Touchdown” to “Downtown” in central London.
The airport has recently upgraded all airside and landside infrastructure and has constructed a new control tower and hangars with the capacity for 6 BBJs or equivalent aircraft. The next element of the development is a new terminal building to provide not only improved facilities for the users but also increased commercial space, particularly for rental.
Mott MacDonald was employed by TAG to review the current business plan and to provide an independent re-forecasting of demand, revenues and operational costs. The use of the report was support for an Information Memorandum being prepared as part of re-financing the business to take over from the pre-operational lending facilities.
