 Laurie Price - Director of Aviation Strategy is one of Europe's leading air transport economists specialising in economic, strategic, aero-political, planning and development studies. Laurie has been involved in a wide range of projects with emphasis on strategic planning, marketing, airline and airport planning, route development, airline and airport privatisation, formulation of airline programmes, aircraft performance analysis, and providing expert testimony for tribunals, planning inquiries and route licence hearings. Laurie's background includes 17 years with British Caledonian, including a General Manager's role, followed by 2 years in British Airways as Manager of Strategic Projects, and 14 years in consultancy which included co-founding The Aviation & Travel Consultancy Ltd. He was also the Aviation Advisor to the UK House of Commons Transport Select Committee between 1997 and 2005. |
